the natasha’s.
I don’t believe much in organized religion, but I do believe in faith. And so whatever God may be above you tonight, may they hear my voice in this place.
To all the woman forgotten somewhere between hell’s fury and heaven’s gate, may God hear your prayers tonight. May you have strength. May a man’s weight on your back be little less today. May you be warm and fed and find a way to push away all the atrocities that have befallen you - even if that means you have to let go. May you have the courage to defend yourself, even if you should die because of it- may dignity find you somewhere in those dark hours and convert an ounce of your pain into rage. May you see a way out - even if it has no happy ending but for yourself. May justice be given to you, may you trust its delivery even if you should stop breathing in its absence. May you comfort one soul tonight and may you find that gentle warmth beside you as you close your eyes. May you have had the chance to love someone and had the experience of being loved back. May you take solice in knowing that someone, some where is fighting for you - even if you won’t meet them in this life. May you not carry this burden, pain or memory into your next life. But most of all may you have the courage to choose to end your own pain and suffering if it is too great and may no judgement ever be passed on you by any man, God or universal plane.
For the children who are barely woman - know that however long this fate is for you it breaks my heart. Please fight hard. Find the courage to get away and please know that a man can and will touch you one day without disgust and rage. Don’t die there, but if you do - it will be ok.
I was lucky enough to be born a woman without any chains - and even though I understand that you may not have always been chained, please know that I do not take for granted a single day.
We need to find a way to stop men from destroying the whombs that give birth to their son’s. The future men that grow up to do that very thing. My vagina is not a means to pay back God for bestowing it upon me - it was a gift. A gift of life far greater than any man can understand and with that gift I will one day give birth to son’s that are able to understand. Son’s that will one day become the type of men that understand that even though a woman may be a lamb, she is a great seed- and that seed must be protected from all evils - any man, beast or poison.
